What is a Return Date?
The return date on a case is the date the case will be heard or decided in court. There is a return date provided for the initial filing and for the interrogatory filing for each claim. The return date can be printed in documents (RETURNDATE for filings, RETURNDTIR for interrogatory). The return dates need to be filled in on the Litigation screen prior to documents being able to fill them in automatically. You may fill in the return dates at the time you preview the document, however, the dates will not be saved to the Litigation screen this way.
