Account Setup

 

CollectMax allows you to setup some account defaults like status, type, contract for and assignments. These settings will default these fields to the selected data when adding a new account or claim. These can be overridden by the data entry users at the time of adding an account

From a Client Account, click the and then the button to display the New Debtor Account Setup Screen.

 Account

CollectMax allows you to set some default miscellaneous account settings. These can be overridden at the time the account is added.

Select they type of debtors this Client normally sends. Choose from Individuals or Businesses

Select the appropriate button.

  Status

Select the default Opening Status of the accounts. Click the button and pick from the list of available status codes. If the appropriate status code is not available, click the button and add a new status code. This status code can be overridden at the time the account is added.

 Contract For

Select the default Contract For. Click the button and pick from the list of available For codes or enter the default For information. If the appropriate For code is not available, click the button and add a new For code. This For code can be overridden at the time the account is added.

 Type

Select the default Type. Click the button and pick from the list of available Type codes. If the appropriate Type code is not available, click the button and add a new Type code. This Type code can be overridden at the time the account is added.

 Assignment

CollectMax allows you to set some default account assignments. These can be overridden at the time the account is added.

 Originator

Select the default Originator. The Originator is typically the person who brought the business in or the Attorney but is not required to be. Click the button and pick from the list of available Originator. If the appropriate Originator is not available, click the button and add a new Originator. This Originator can be overridden at the time the account is added.

 Responsible

 

Select the default Responsible. The Responsible is typically the collector or the person responsible for the account but is not required to be. Click the button and pick from the list of available Responsible. If the appropriate Responsible is not available, click the button and add a new Responsible. This Responsible can be overridden at the time the account is added.

 Assigned From

Select the default Assigned From. The Assigned From is typically the person who brought the business in or the Attorney but is not required to be. Click the button and pick from the list of available Assigned From. If the appropriate Assigned From is not available, click the button and add a new Assigned From. This Assigned From can be overridden at the time the account is added.

Once the Account Setup Pre-Sets have been set, click the button.
